 Lake Ontario Waterfront Trail (Niagara to Quebec border) The Waterfront Trail follows Lake Ontario from the US border at Niagara-on-the-Lake to the Quebec border near Cornwall. Along it you will find a 900km celebration of nature and culture - where peaceful countryside, small towns and big cities share a common bond through Lake Ontario.  Greater Niagara Circle Route (Niagara Region) The Greater Niagara Circle Route is a trail system that links over 140km of recreation trails. The route encompasses the Niagara River, Welland Canals, Friendship and Waterfront Trails. It links Lake Ontario and Lake Erie, and passes through urban centres, the Niagara Escarpment, waterfronts, rural and agricultural areas. Opt for a guided or solo cycling tour and follow the blue "wine route" signs that roll through the quaint, postcard-perfect villages. When a respite is warranted, what better way to relax then by touring a winery for a wine tasting then spend the night at a hospitable bed and breakfast or country inn.  Pelee Island Ecological Trail (Windsor-Essex) The Pelee Island ecological trail system includes 34km of on-road bicycle trails, 10km of ecological multi-use trails and 5 kilometres walking trails. Combined these trails provide access to unique natural heritage environments, in addition to significant cultural heritage features including the Pelee Island Heritage Centre, the Pelee Island Lighthouse, the Pelee Island Winery and local limestone architecture.
