Stop in at the Village's tradeshops, and see utensils, clothing and tools being made at the hands of the blacksmith, tinsmith, broommaker, cooper, cabinetmaker, shoemaker and dressmaker, all using 19th century techniques and equipment.
Meet the steam engine operator and the miller at Bellamy's Steam and Flour Mill. Watch huge logs being sawn into lumber using water power at Beach's Sawmill. See raw wool transformed into yarn and blankets at Asselstine's Woollen Factory, the only operational woollen mill of its kind in all of North America.
Visit the Village's farms, featuring heritage livestock such as the Canadian Horse (the recently acclaimed National Horse of Canada). From the arrival of newborn animals in the spring, through to the harvesting of crops in the fall, there's always something new to see.
Hop aboard the horse-drawn carry-all and tow scow. Enjoy historic dining, and shop for fresh Village bread and cheese.
