The Art Gallery of Algoma (AGA) was incorporated as a non-profit public art gallery on July 7, 1975. The AGA's vision is to be a premiere visual arts institution in northern Ontario, gaining national recognition and international partnerships. Located next to the historic St. Mary's River, the 10,000-square-foot facility includes four exhibition spaces, cafe and Gallery Shop. The AGA establishes initiatives, participate in the national contemporary art scene, and uphold its mandate; To deliver art education through interpretation and classes. To coordinate a fusion of arts, education activities and expand our permanent collection.
