Since 1996, the Haliburton Forest Wolf Centre has maintained the Haliburton Forest wolf pack bloodlines, first established in Upper Michigan's backwoods in 1977. Luna and Fang, the pack's current alpha pair, together with their siblings and offspring, roam freely in a 15-acre enclosure, one of the largest of its kind in the world. Observe the pack safely from behind the observatory's mic'd one-way glass. Experience The Wolf Centre's numerous exhibits, small cinema and retail area featuring a wide selection of wolf related books, CDs, DVDs and graphics. An annual themed exhibit is open to the public during the summer.
