Set in the heart of the 30,000 islands, Killbear offers camping, swimming, sunbathing, canoeing, kayaking, sailing, windsurfing, fishing, boating and beach volleyball. Stroll sandy beaches or hike our four trails. Most sites are less than a five-minute walk to shore. Six of seven campgrounds offer comfort stations and include showers, laundry and flush toilets. We also offer a dog beach and pet exercise area. Our Visitor Centre boasts interactive exhibits and Park Naturalists to help you better understand the park - including our fairly common Black Bears and White-tailed Deer! The Nature Shoppe, which sells souvenirs and guide books, is operated by Friends of Killbear, a volunteer organization which supports park education, research, protection and recreation activities.
