Experience the spectacular Lake Superior coastline. This park features spectacular and diverse scenery with cliffs, beaches, river valleys,... waterfalls, inland lakes, with the Algoma Hills in the background. Great beaches for sunning and swimming include Old Woman Bay, Katherine Cove and Agawa Bay. Enjoy world-class fishing, paddling and hiking, such as the trail to the Agawa Rock Pictographs. Thirty-five red ochre images are visible; one of the few pictograph sites in Ontario accessible by foot (only when Lake Superior is calm). Stop in at the exceptional Visitor Centre highlighting the park’s cultural history, natural features and recreational opportunities. Diverse camping opportunities are available.
