Ski Hearst Club has cross-country skiing and snowshoeing equipment available for rent and provides free trail maps. Take advantage of over forty kilometres of beautiful trails; soak in the beauty and tranquility of snow laden forests sparkling in the winter sun. Kap Nordic Ski Trails, offers groomed trails for both classic and skate skiers. Top off your snow adventure on the hills at Kamiskotia Ski Resort near Timmins.

Be warmed by local down-to-earth Francophone hospitality, and spirited events and festivals. Kapuskasing celebrates The Festival of Lights mid-November to early January, followed by the Kapuskasing Winter Carnival, which takes place the last weekend in February.

The Aurora Borealis, or Northern Lights, is nature’s impressive light show that you just might be lucky enough to witness.
