Learn how to paddle, sail or ski. Get the basics on putting up your campsite and cooking outdoors. You’ll find adventures at all levels, as well as experienced guides and experts eager to teach you the tricks and tips to becoming an outdoor enthusiast.

The Harbourfront Canoe and Kayak Centre offers rentals, guided trips and instruction, everything you need to get off the pavement and on the water at Toronto's downtown waterfront. Team up with Firefly Adventures for paddling 101 in Eastern Ontario. Wilderness North provides flexible, customized paddling workshops in Northern Ontario's stunning wilderness. Try your hand at sailing, there are a number of sailing clubs and programs across the province.

Most ski resorts include snow camps with downhill skiing and snowboarding lessons on the smaller bunny hills. You can even learn during the summer months at Alpine Indoor training centres.
