It’s our final installment featuring Ontarian’s favourite ways to enjoy winter in Ontario. Here’s Toronto Instagrammer @punkodelish’s suggestions for making the most of a Winterlude weekend.
“I really love libraries. I went on a tour of the Parliament of Canada this morning and the Library of Parliament is one of the most beautiful I’ve seen.”
“I’m in Ottawa for Winterlude, their annual winter celebration, which runs until February 16. One of the most popular activities is skating on the Rideau Canal. It’s the world’s largest skating rink!”
“It’s frosty in Ottawa this weekend so we’ve made many stops indoors in between our outdoor activities. I love these stairs at the National Arts Centre.”
“Chilly sunrise skate on the Rideau Canal”.
“Gorgeous light at the National Gallery of Canada. I’m so happy to be spending the weekend in Ottawa, Ontario.”
